  • Make a Start to Refund of your Bank Charges Now!

Lately the refund bank charges situation has yet again been in the news. The court case by the Office of Fair Trading continues on and so we wait patiently for the conclusion. But why wait! You can start reclaiming your bank charges today and get a head start on the people that are waiting for the test case conclusion. You can begin by contacting a no win no fee company to handle your claim. All you need to do is give them your details and they will do the rest. Obviously they will take a small percentage of your winnings (usually 10%), but considering you won't need to lift a finger it's a really good route to go down. I know we can take the 'do it yourself' option but when you have 6 years of bank charges that you have to work out percentages for it can be a bit tiresome.

I personally used a no win no fee company to claim back my bank charges and let me tell you it was a totally effortless. If you think you would like to do the same as me then check out this site http://refundbankcharges.com, it has lots of information about the reclaiming process and also compares a number of no win no fee reclaiming companies.

    Good luck!

  • Claim Back Bank Charges!

The Office Of Fair Trading test case that will hopefully enable UK citizens to claim back bank charges that were unfairly made is still going on. The case is expected to last for a few more weeks and then once all the information has been gathered a decision will be made.

It is highly likely that the case will result in some kind of deal being made between the banks and the OFT. This could mean that you may not get the full amount owed back to you. Figures in the region of £10 allowance for letter charges have been talked about. This means for example that if your bank charges you £25 for a letter, then you would be entitled to £15 refund.

As of yet, nothing is decided so that figure could be widely inaccurate. The point here is that we should expect some leeway in what we can actually comes to claim back bank charges.
